William Lay: Well, state also is one of the 23 agencies benefiting from John’s work. And actually, I have followed John at state. He really got the whole continuous monitoring idea and structuring place at state about 5 years ago. We’re continuing down that path. We’re making very good strides. The BP and the contract that he’s got in place that the rest of the federal government can take advantage of—we’re leveraging. We’re using the platform he started even though it was early days. It’s robust and we’re filling it in with new tools that are available to the new contract to expand its capability. We found over the last years—we migrated from Windows XP to Windows 7. The continuous monitoring capability really gave us a good day-to-day situational awareness that was really beneficial in what would be a normal rollout.

William Lay: Also a cybersecurity tool that really provided additional benefits to operations staff.
