David Bennett: …though as Frank and Gary both mentioned, reduced costs is a big piece of this. As Frank mentioned, just the reduction in personnel and moving the enterprise email, because we use a standard platform and a standard architecture across the enterprise supporting one and a half million users we have on enterprise email today. We are achieving basically a 200 to 1, 200 systems are OE’s to individual system administrators, which is a huge increase of what we used to do when we were focused on individual applications, each with a different architectural approach.
Standardization is a key piece in terms of reducing those costs. The other piece is the improved security aspects of moving to a standardized approach. As mentioned before, we are offering a capability called Mil-Cloud, which is basically an infrastructure as a service type of capability that is going to have a standard implementation that will offer across the departments. If you are needing to host a capability within the enterprise, you can provision that capability on the Mil-Cloud infrastructure and we know exactly how that environment is going to look, how it’s going to work, how the security structure of that is set up so that we can improve the security posture.
The other piece is just the improved security posture of the enterprise. As we go to the cloud and tie that in with the JIE efforts and the security focus in JIE with the single security architecture, we are now able to move that security boundary to the enterprise and remove a lot of the independent implementations that are done at the post camping station which are never consistent or constant across the enterprise. Moving that to the cloud, moving that to that JIE construct and the single security architecture, tying that in with the standardized architectural approach for providing the infrastructure really brings it all together so you save time, you save money and you have a more secure environment to operate in.
