Male: Frank nailed most of the ones that are common to both of us. I would like to talk about the cultural and psychological issues.
Jim: Okay. I like that. I was waiting for someone to bring that up.
Male: The Army is highly decentralized in its delivery services primarily because the way that we fight. We have to deliver those services to the soldiers in the field. So having control over those services is very important to the commanders.
Jim: Sure, I can understand that.
Male: So were asking for them to do is to trust that we can centralized these things remote from them and still deliver those services. And the Holy Grail there is enforceable service level agreement.
Jim: Right.
Male: But were very fortunate in the army General Lawrence our previous CIO and General Ferrell our current CIO have taken a personal interest in data center consolidation in delivery services. And on a weekly basis we report to them on progress, and on a quarterly basis we bring together the commands virtually so that they can talk to the CIO and explain what they’ve accomplished in the last 90 days, what they’re going to try to accomplish in the next 90 days. That kind of command emphasis has been a significant advantage to us.
